Pumpkin Seed Pretzels

Ingredients needed:

  • 60 g of instant mashed potatoes
  • 2 dry yeast

  • 50 g of ground pumpkin seeds
  • 180 ml of oil
  • 700 ml of lukewarm water

  • 2 teaspoons mixed dry spice
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 6-7 tablespoons of water
  • sesame seeds if desired

Method of preparation:

Knead a medium soft dough from all the dough ingredients with lukewarm water. It is left to grow, to duplicate.

Divide into 3 parts, make balls. Each ball is rolled out and cut into 4 parts, or 6, depending on how big you want the pretzels to be.
Each section is rolled up like a bun and joined at the ends. Put them in a greased pan, cover them with the dressing and leave them to rise until the oven heats up or about 20 minutes.

They are baked in a heated oven at 220 degrees with a fan.

Pumpkin Seed Spread

Ingredients needed:

  • 80 g of pumpkin seeds
  • 80 g of butter
  • 100 g of cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of seed oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1-2 tablespoons of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of vinegar
  • finely chopped chives

Method of preparation:

First, the pumpkin seeds are briefly and carefully roasted. After it is sealed, grind half of the quantity finely and the other half more coarsely.

Combine butter and cream cheese in a bowl with a mixer. If you want, you can add salt and pepper according to your choice.

Then add finely chopped chives, oil, vinegar, garlic, sour cream, seeds. We combine all this and leave it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. To bring the flavors together.
